Development Contract for James Tredwell

Kent County Cricket Club today announced that James Tredwell has accepted a development contract for the rest of this season. Tredwell, 19, has had an exceptional career as a Kent Young Cricketer and performed with distinction in the Kent Cricket Board's recent Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy match against Worcestershire.

The development contract offered to Tredwell is a new concept for the County Club and will combine a cricketing programme with other, varied work experience within the Club. It is hoped that similar contracts will be offered to aspiring youngsters in the future.
