The ICC East Asia-Pacific region announced this month the establishment of the EAP Umpires Panel (EAPUP), providing a further step in the region's umpiring pathway
The panel, to be selected at the conclusion of the EAP Cricket Cup in Vanuatu, will provide the region with a pool of elite umpires to draw upon for future tournaments while also acting as a motivational tool for countries to highlight opportunities for umpires to develop and officiate in international events. Talented umpires in the panel will be identified for possible progression onto the ICC Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel.
The EAPUP will be selected from the following umpires invited to officiate at the EAP Cricket Cup Vanuatu 2005:
