Neil Rider has been appointed as the new manager of the England women's team. The move represents a return to the England management for Rider, who has been working at the Rose Bowl for the past year.
An ECB Level 3 qualified coach, he takes over from Charlotte Dickenson on April 1. His role will be to look after the requirements of the team and support staff on tour.
The executive director for women's cricket Gill McConway was delighted with the appointment. "I'd like to welcome Neil back to the England management team," she said, "and if his past record is anything to go by, he will be a huge asset to the England mission to be number one in the world."
