Exclusive Tour Diary - Rowan Milburn's latest report from India

Well there is an excellent buzz in the camp given our place in the final coming as the top qualifier from the round robin games.
It hasn't all been a smooth sailing, but we are pleased with our results and other than a loss to Australia in one game, we have been quite convincing.
The final is tomorrow and the realization that the tour is almost over has kicked in. I have found myself no longer glued to the window on the bus to take in all the classic India sights you see and am dare I say it almost used to the smell and goings on that makes India well.....India.
Most of our team members are known at the Adidas shop by name, Suzie Bates and Rebecca Rolls are always asked for by the staff there as they are our now famous century-makers on this trip. We have not disappointed them and I am sure they are as pleased as anyone our hotel is next to their shop!
Still to come on the trip is the White Ferns amazing race which will take place on the day after the final. This has been organized by Catherine Campbell and will involve a Tuk Tuk challenge around Chennai.
As someone with no sense of direction, I feel sorry for the person who draws me as their partner. Oh well... I just hope we get a fast Tuk Tuk and a reasonably sane driver.
Thanks very much to Frank and Penny, Sophie's Mum and Grandad who left for home yesterday.
They were excellent supporters on the trip and it was great to have them at our games.
Looking forward to writing a victorious entry following the final - those that can't wait that long - get on the old internet you can watch live scoring on cricinfo.
We'll be giving it 100% - GO THE KIWIS
