In view of the hectic tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe and due to the injuries caused to certain
players as a result of "mugging" and others reasons, PCB has decided to send upcoming young fast
bowler from Peshawar, Fazl-e-Akbar to strengthen the squad on urgent basis. He is scheduled to
depart for Johannisburg from Karachi enroute Dubai on 18 February by PK 213. Fazl-e-Akbar has
topped the averages this season with an aggregate of 80 wickets in the first class domestic season 1997-98.
