Final squad named for ICC World Cricket League Division 2
The Hong Kong Cricket Association has named its 14-man squad for the ICC World Cricket League Division 2 tournament to be played in Dubai during 8-15 April 2011.

The Hong Kong Cricket Association has named its 14-man squad for the ICC World Cricket League Division 2 tournament to be played in Dubai during 8-15 April 2011. The squad, to be captained by Najeeb Amar, features one new player from the team that won the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 title in Hong Kong in January, with Max Tucker replacing Tabarak Dar.

The tour party will depart for Dubai on 1st April 2011.
Seven members of the tour party will attend a training camp in Perth prior to leaving for Dubai. The seven members travelling to Perth are Max Tucker, Nadeem Ahmed, Nizakat Khan, Hussain Butt, Aizaz Khan, Asif Khan and Waqas Barkat. Other members of the squad were not able to attend the training camp due to work and/or study commitments in Hong Kong.
In other related news, the HKCA Executive Committee has announced a monetary incentive for the team to perform well in Dubai. A top four finish at the tournament will earn the team a HK$150,000 bonus while a top-two finish will attract an additional HK$150,000 reward. A top four finish will also earn Hong Kong a place at the next ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier and will see the team ranked in the 'high performance' category as one of the top ten associate countries in world cricket.
