World Cup 2006 qualifiers
It only seems like yesterday that the Euro 2004 tournament finished, but Saturday sees the majority of countries kicking of their 2006 World Cup campaign. Unsurprisingly Brazil are market leaders at 9/2 with France, who were so disappointing in Portugal, the 13/2 second favourites.
Hosts Germany, who won't have any problems qualifying, are as short as 7/1 and new boss Jurgen Klinsmann will be expected to produced the goods at the first attempt. Group 6 will attract a lot of interest as England, Wales and Northern Ireland fight it out for qualification.
The Three Lions are odds on to get through and can be backed at 7/1 to win the tournament in Germany. The more optimistic of you may want to back the Welsh or the Irish at a juicy 1000/1.

Austria v England, Live betting on Sky Sports 1, September 4
England boss Sven Goran Eriksson still remains in a job and he will be looking to get off to a winning start in Austria for England's opening World Cup qualifier.
England are 8/13 to kick off the campaign with three points in Vienna and they should be capable of just that with Austrian manager Hans Krankl sweating on a number of injuries. They are far from certainties mind as England have a habit of flattering to deceive, though one goal should be enough and David Beckham could be first on the scoresheet at 8/1.
Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland are also in World Cup action with Lawrie Sanchez's men looking to have the most difficult game against Poland. Northern Ireland haven't won at home since 2001 and they are up against it and the Poles should be too strong at 5/6.
