This Friday sees the final of the preliminary competition of the
Hyndburn Mayoral Six-a-side Challenge between Griffin's Head of
Huncoat and Accrington and District League leaders Attock at
Accrington CC beginning at 6.30pm.
On Bank Holiday Monday, August 30, the semi-finals and the final
of the main competition will also be played at Accrington CC as
part of the Family Fun Day. The day kicks off with a kwik cricket
competition at noon. Other attractions include a penalty
competition, bouncy castle, car boot sale, children's races and a
bowls competition. The draw for the six-a-side semi-final is: 3pm
Accrington v Baxenden; 4.15pm Great Harwood v Griffin's Head or
Attock; 5.30pm Grand Summer Raffle Draw; 6pm Final.
The trophies for both finals will be presented by the Mayor of
Hyndburn Councillor Bernard Dawson.
