Global Awards Africa with four

The ICC announced the Global Development Award Winners on Thursday and Africa was the strongest contender with four of the nine awards on offer.

With Nambia taking the awards for Best Overall Development Programme, and Best Spirit of Cricket Initiative and Nigeria securing the Women's Initiative Award and Botswana the UNAIDS Award the region is certainly highlighting its determination to uphold the ICC's corner stones of Participation, Spirit of Cricket and Widening the Market.
