Himachal Pradesh in the North Zone Cooch Behar (under-19)
cricket tournament at Rohtak on Tuesday.
As the result indicates, Haryana were too powerful for Himachal.
After dismissing Himachal for 52, Haryana replied with 526 for
two declared off 132 overs. Opener Manvinder Bisla scored 283
before being run out. He batted a shade over eight hours,
faced 379 balls and hit 33 fours and five sixes. With Bhuvnesh
Sharma (62), he put on 158 runs for the first wicket off 49 overs.
Then with Ishan Ganda, he added 347 runs for the second wicket off
78.1 overs. Ganda remained unbeaten with 152 after batting 5-3/4
hours. He faced 249 balls and hit 15 fours and three sixes.
In their second innings, Himachal fared only slightly better
before being all out for 132. Joginder Sharma (3), Nitin Agarwal
(4) and Amit Mishra (3) shared the wickets.
