The start of the third week in the IPL has seen the Chennai Super Kings jump to the top of the points table in the IPL, but there's been no such change in Star Wars, as Ian Chappell doggedly holds on to his No.1 spot.
It was the battle of the trumps between Ian and Sambit Bal, and Ian's pick - Matthew Hayden - fetched him 138 points. Sambit on the other hand, decided to go with Adam Gilchrist, who had a bad day, handing out a -20. L Balaji didn't get any wickets, and the only points Sambit got from the game were from Rohit Sharma (who was also in Ian's team), who gave him 23.
"I've had a good run with my trumps the last couple of days and that helps," said Ian. "However, I'm having a night out with Rodney Marsh tonight so my opponents may be able to take advantage of some strange choices over the next couple of days."
Chennai captain MS Dhoni fetched a huge 280 points, and the only Star Wars team to have him is David Lloyd's. This means that David has extended his lead over Sanjay Manjrekar and is now 298 adrift of Sambit.
