Hong Kong Cricket Association has today announced an exciting T20 competition for the best Men and Women players in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Cricket Association has today announced an exciting T20 competition for the best Men and Women players in Hong Kong. Played over a four week period starting on Sunday July 18th at Kai Tak Cricket Ground, the Elite Player Series will conclude on August 8th while the Women's Series will start on September 5th.
The series is to give the selectors an opportunity to select the 20-man National squad for the next 12 months, as well as the 16-woman National squad for 2010/11.
Hong Kong's new National Coach, Charlie Burke will also get an opportunity to see the players he has at hand and will look forward to the exciting four weeks of cricket.
"With such a busy and important 12 months coming up for Hong Kong Cricket in such important tournaments such as the Asian Games, ICC World Cricket League Division 3 and also the Women's ACC tournament in July, we need to make sure we have the best players training and playing over summer," Burke said
The best 64 Men's players will be divided into four teams, while the best 26 Women's Players will be divided into 2 teams.
