HKCA seeks nominations for LCMC Chairman

At the last LCMC meeting nominations were called for nominations to succeed Michael Jamieson as the Chairman of the LCMC.

It was pointed out that the membership had not been given sufficient notice of Michael Jamieson's intention to step down after the meeting and there was a request from the floor that such notification be issued to the Clubs in order that due process be observed.

There was one nomination from the meeting - Shane Sibraa from Hong Kong Cricket Club.

Nominations are now called for from the Clubs for anyone who is willing to also stand for election as LCMC Chairman. Duties will be to Chair the LCMC, Chair the MDC and sit on the HKCA Executive Committee.

Nominations must be submitted via email to Ron Brierly at hkca@crick-kid.com by 12 noon on Tuesday 1st June 2010.

Should no further nominations be received, Shane Sibraa shall be elected unopposed at the next LCMC meeting.
