If you need some hints to get you started, we spoke to the Senior Cricket Market Maker at Sporting Index for his opinion ahead of the match ...
Straight down the middle
"The predominant pattern throughout this tournament has been that whoever wins the toss, will put their opponents in to bat before beating them in the afternoon. Looking at these two teams, if it was a level playing field then you'd have to fancy England to win. We've priced them up as favourites, but that price will shorten if Vaughan loses the toss.
"The English captain finished his dreadful run of form with a personal best ODI score of 86 against Australia on Tuesday. We're predicting he will get between 38 and 43 runs in this match; personally, I think Tuesday was a flash in the pan, but expect to see plenty of interest from punters who think he's cracked it and will be betting high at 43 runs. I'll also be keeping a close eye on Harmison, who should perform well on The Oval's bouncing wicket.
"The West Indies will hope that Sarwan can keep on delivering the goods. An average of 72 over his last 15 ODIs, featuring 6 not-outs (including an unbeaten 56 against Pakistan in the semis) makes his runs spread of 38 to 43 look like a tempting buy. If Bravo can maintain his technique then he could be the key to the Windies' bowling, but I worry about his wayward tendencies. This means that I'll stick to my convictions and ride the wave of patriotism by backing England to win."
