India 3/1 to take second Test

It would be easy to conclude that England got the better of the drawn first Test at Trent Bridge but there were more positives for India and they are easy to back at 3/1 to win the second Test.

Several of the tourists' batsman spent time in the middle, Murali Vijay especially showing what a capable opening player he is, and the Indian bowling attack demonstrated it can create plenty of problems - with R Ashwin potentially coming into the side at Lord's to add a quality spin option.

England's batting showed it's frailty again and they were bailed out by a record 10th-wicket stand. Their bowlers also got far more miles in their legs and that is a concern with only a three-day turnaround to Lord's. Back India at 3/1 for the second Test.
