India need just one win from their remaining matches to join Australia in the final of the CB Series and they will be keen to do it at the first opportunity, which means beating the Aussies at the SCG on Sunday.
India have already notched one win over the hosts in this series and there is no question that when they put everything together, they are one of the few sides who can really push the world champions.
Australia have already qualified for the final of the triangular series so it's possible they will not be quite as intense as they would otherwise in Sunday's game.
That's not to say that they will not be trying 100 percent but it's just human nature that sides don't quite go all out when they don't need to. Bet365 make Australia 4/11 to win the match, with India 2/1.
Adam Gilchrist, Matt Hayden and Ricky Ponting are all joint favourites at 7/2 to top-score in Sunday's match, with Michael Clarke a 4/1 shot. Andrew Symonds and Michael Hussey are both 6/1, with Brad Haddin 9/1.
Sachin Tendulkar, who else? is favourite to be top India runscorer, at 7/2, with Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir 4/1 and Yuvraj Singh, who has finally rediscovered some form, is 5/1.
Behind them, Rohit Sharma is 11/2, captain MS Dhoni is 6/1 and Dinesk Karthik 7/1.
