India still chasing semi-final berth

South Africa have looked a classy outfit in the World Twenty20 to date but they will have to be on their guard when they take on India in their final Super Eights match on Thursday, knowing heavy defeat would hand New Zealand a place in the last four.
Bet365 make South Africa favourites at 8/15 (1.53) but India will fancy their chances at 11/8 (2.37), particularly Yuvraj Singh, who will be celebrating his six sixes in an over - against England on Tuesday - for many years to come.
India have to beat South Africa to progress but the hosts could still go through if they keep their run-rate high and are only narrowly beaten. I have to say that they will probably beat India, but there may not be much in it again.
India should have beaten New Zealand in their first Super Eights match and now have to go for broke on Thursday but that could play into their hands as it will concentrate their minds.
Yuvraj was on fire against England but amazingly he is only 11/2 to be top runscorer for India against South Africa. That, of course, is down to the fact that he bats in the middle order, but that is still a big price.
Virender Sehwag heads the market at 3/1, with Gautam Gambhir 10/3, Robin Uthappa 7/2 and Mahendra Dhoni a 9/2 chance.
Herschelle Gibbs, who returned from injury in the win over New Zealand, is 3/1 favourite to be top runscorer for his side, while captain Graeme Smith is 10/3 and AB De Villiers a 7/2 shot.
Behind them, Bodi is 4/1, while Dumini and Kemp are 9/2, with Boucher 6/1 and Morkel available at 9/1.
