In response to the invitation extended by Sri Lanka Cricket, the under mentioned major TV Broadcasters have responded with their "Expression of Interest" to secure International TV Broadcasting rights for Inbound Tours to Sri Lanka during the period 1st January 2004 - 31st December 2006.
- Ten Sports (Taj TV)
- PCM Sports (India) Pvt Ltd
- World Sports Nimbus (WSN)
- Trans World International (TWI)
- Set Satellite (Sony Entertainment TV)
Both ESPN Star and Doordharshan indicated their interest only in the event of tours by India to Sri Lanka during this period.
The Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket at their monthly meeting held on 8th October 2003 ratified the appointment of their Auditors, M/s SJMS Associates to handle the entire bid process.
The finalized bid document prepared by them would be forwarded to the above named within the next fortnight.
