The basic principles of spread betting are not that complicated, and once the simple concept has been grasped, it becomes extremely easy to understand.
bethilo make a prediction on a particular aspect of a cricket match, such as how many runs a batsman will score in his 1st innings. You then decide whether their prediction is too high or too low; how much you win or lose depends on how right or wrong you are.
How does it work?
When you choose to challenge a bethilo prediction, you must decide the size of your betting stake.
When you choose to challenge a bethilo prediction, you must decide the size of your betting stake.
The amount you win or lose depends on the size of your stake multiplied by how correct or how wrong you are.
Let's say that bethilo predict that England will score 430 runs in their 1st innings. You reckon that there'll be more so you "bet high" with a stake of 10p for every run above 430.
If there were 530 England 1st Innings Runs, you would win (530 - 430) x your stake = 100 x 10p = £10.
On the other hand, if only 380 runs had been scored, you would have lost (430 - 380) x your stake = 50 x 10p = £5.
