Ireland managed to beat the weather and completed a five-wicket win over Namibia at Clontarf. No play was possible before lunch but David Langford-Smith took the final three Namibian wickets, leaving Ireland to chase 54. They wobbled, slipping to 25 for 4, but eventually crossed the winning line.
Langford-Smith claimed the key strike of Kola Burger - the only batsman to really trouble Ireland during the match - after the batsman added just six to his overnight total. The last two wickets fell for another 10 runs as Langford-Smith ended with four.
However, Namibia didn't give up without a fight as Burger nipped out three early wickets including Andre Botha and Dominick Joyce for ducks. But Eoin Morgan made a hard-fought 21 and was well supported by Peter Gillespie as the runs were ticked off.
Morgan fell with the target insight, leaving Trent Johnston to help his team home and an impressive 20 points.
