Australia may have named their squad for the forthcoming Test series in South Africa this week but they still have their work cut out if they are to avoid a rare one-day series loss when they meet the home side in the fourth one-day international in Durban on Friday, trailing 2-1 in the five-match series.
South Africa have been the dominant side in the series but bet365 have faith in Australia and make them 8/13 (1.61) to win the match and square the series. South Africa, on the other hand, are 6/5 (2.20) to wrap it up by winning in Durban.
The home side have won 11 and lost just five of their 21 one-day internationals at Kingsmead, while the four matches between the two sides on the ground have been shared.
The momentum, it could be argued, is with Australia after they kept the series alive but a few injury problems and a buoyant South Africa team will make their job tough on Friday.
Captain Graeme Smith is the 7/2 (4.50) favourite to be top runscorer for his side at Kingsmead, while Herschelle Gibbs, Boeta Dippenaar and Jacques Kallis, who returns after injury, are all 4/1 (5.00).
Justin Kemp is 7/1 (8.00), Mark Boucher and Ashwell Prince are 8/1 (9.00) and Shaun Pollock, who has already top-scored once in the series, is 12/1 (13.00) to produce a repeat performance.
For Australia, captain Ricky Ponting is their favourite at 7/2 (4.50), while opener Adam Gilchrist is next at 4/1 (5.00). Simon Katich and Damien Martyn, the latter who should be boosted by his return to the Test squad, are both 5/1 (6.00).
Andrew Symonds is an 11/2 (6.50) chance while Michael Hussey and Michael Clarke are both 13/2 (7.50).
