Moores appointed England 'A' coach

Sussex CCC are delighted in the appointment of Peter Moores as England 'A' coach to the West Indies in February/March 2001.

Moores has been coach of the Sussex team for the past three seasons and has been pivotal to the resurgence of the County following the traumas of 1996/97.

Commenting on the appointment David Gilbert, Chief Executive, said: "This is a fantastic accolade to Peter, I doubt if any coach on the county circuit works harder and displays more enthusiasm than he.

"This appointment can only enhance his reputation further and provide him with valuable experience working with current and future Test players."
