The Annual General Meeting of the ICA was held in Tel Aviv on Saturday night. Guest speaker at the evening was the First Secretary of the Indian Embassy, Mr. Das. A special award was presented to Mr. Geoffrey Davis, a staunch supporter of Israel cricket, in honour of his 80th birthday.
The award was accepted on his behalf by his daughter Linda. The ICA Management committee also presented Stanley Perlman with an award in appreciation for his service, dedication and commitment to Israel cricket since having become chairman in 1994.
Lions Lod, winners of the 2003 Dudi Silbowitz Premier League trophy, players took top honours in the individual awards section, with Mahendra Jaiswar and David Massil taking the top batting and bowling awards respectively. Negev Academy leg spinner Ronen Waskar was selected Junior Player of the Year, following outstanding performances in both the domestic league and for the Israel U15 team.
Following the AGM, elections were held for the 2004-2005 Board of Directors. Stanley Perlman was unanimously elected for a further term as Chairman, and all the existing board members were re-elected as well.
