consists of:
Chief Executive : Dave Ellman-Brown
Administration Manager : Ian Robinson
P.A. to Chief Executive : Kerry Finnigan
Development/high-density coaching : Henry Motsi
Academy Manager/Junior Cricket
Administrator : Mike Whiley
Administrative Assistant : Viola Muza
The Secretariat heads five working divisions:
- Mashonaland (includes Manicaland and Midlands East -- Kadom area)
- Mashonaland Country Districts
- Matabeleland (includes Matabeleland Country Districts, Midlands West -- Gweru and Kwekwe area -- and Masvingo)
- Umpires and Scorers
- Junior and Schools Cricket
At present the smaller geographical unions are not very active, and so
have been brought under the umbrella of the two major provinces. It
is hoped that eventually they will become autonomous again.
The Secretariat has established a professional administrative presence
in cricket in Zimbabwe, and has taken over the functions of various
committees, especially those concerned with tours, domestic cricket
and finance. In the past these committees were necessarily run by
people who were also involved in full-time jobs.
The Chief Executive attends the meetings of the working committees and
reports to the Executive Committee on their behalf. This has put
Zimbabwe cricket on a more professional basis, and helped the
committees to liaise with the central administration more effectively.
