Pakistan Consulate-General sponsors domestic Twenty20 competition

To promote the spirit of cricket amongst the various cricket clubs in Hong Kong, the CONSULATE GENERAL OF PAKISTAN, HONG KONG is pleased to arrange the first ever TWENTY20 QUAID-I-AZAM TROPHY CRICKET TOURNAMENT, named after the founder of Pakistan.

Cricket is a passion in Pakistan and the subcontinent. Cricketers in Hong Kong also share this passion.
To promote the spirit of cricket amongst the various cricket clubs in Hong Kong, the CONSULATE GENERAL OF PAKISTAN, HONG KONG is pleased to arrange the first ever TWENTY20 QUAID-I-AZAM TROPHY CRICKET TOURNAMENT, named after the founder of Pakistan.
This tournament is run together between the Consulate General of Pakistan and the Hong Kong Cricket Association and it will be a first of its kind annual tournament. In addition this will be the first domestic cricket tournament in Hong Kong with Prize money for the Champions and Runner Ups as well as for the Player of the Tournament.
The following six teams will participate in the first ever Twenty20 Quaid-i-Azam Trophy cricket tournament:
  • HONG KONG CRICKET CLUB (HKCC)
  • KOWLOON CRICKET CLUB (KCC)
  • PAKISTAN ASSOCIATION CRICKET CLUB (PACC)
  • SUBCONT CRICKET CLUB (VAGABONDS) (SCC)
  • MILLENNIUM CRICKET CLUB (MCC)
  • LITTLE SAI WAN CRICKET CLUB (LSWCC)
The event is scheduled to be held from 15-17 February 2008 and will be held at the Mission Road ground.
