Pollock, McMillan fined by match referee

South African captain Shaun Pollock and New Zealand batsmen Craig McMillan were both fined portions of their match fees by match referee Col. Naushad Ali at the conclusion of the first Castle Lager/MTN Test match in Bloemfontein on Tuesday.

The pair were involved in a verbal exchange on Monday afternoon during which, according to the match referee, "unparliamentary launguage" was used.

Pollock was fined 50 percent of his match fee for being in violation of clauses 1 and 2 of the ICC Code of Conduct while McMillan was fined 30 percent for being in violation of clause 2.
