Rain set to force draw at Lord's

West Indies have battled well to be in a position to save the first Test against England at Lord's but they could also be helped out by a very dodgy weather forecast for Monday's final day, which has prompted bet365 to cut the draw to 3/10 (1.30)

West Indies have battled well to be in a position to save the first Test against England at Lord's but they could also be helped out by a very dodgy weather forecast for Monday's final day, which has prompted bet365 to cut the draw to 3/10 (1.30).
Kevin Pietersen's seventh Test hundred at least gave England a chance, but with Matthew Hoggard out with injury, England's attack is weakened and they will do very well to take all 10 wickets on the final day.
Steve Harmison has also been misfiring and bet365 make the home side 13/5 (3.40) to go on to win it, while those with more fanciful minds among you may be interested to know that West Indies, who need another 394 to win, are 28/1 to do just that.
Unfortunately for them, the omens are not good for a massive run chase in the final innings of a Lord's Test, with the 344-1 scored by West Indies themselves, in 1984, still the highest score made for victory when batting last at HQ.
Daren Ganga, who has four runs to his name, is 5/6 to make 32 or better, and the same price to fall short, while Chris Gayle, who has yet to score, is the same price to either get 33 or not make it past 32.
If England are to go on to win it, though, they will need a full day's play and with rain forecast for London on and off throughout the day, the chances of that look slim.
Already advised
England to win the 1st Test - 4/7 bet365
Ramnaresh Sarwan to be top West Indies runscorer - 4/1 bet365
