Ramle, Neve Yonatan and Ashdod advance to Cup Semis

The first of the ICA Cup semi finals will be played in Ashdod this weekend, with Ashdod A hosting Ramle. Ashdod defeated Eilat on Saturday, whilst Ramle completely outplayed Ra'anana on Friday. In the other half of the draw, Neve Yonatan defeated Lod, but will have to wait another week to find out who their opponents will be after the Lions Lod - Kiryat Gat game was rained out and will be played this weekend.

Eliezer Samson (5 for 15) and Samuel Borgawkar (3 for 7) both put in outstanding bowling performances to dismiss Ra'anana for a miserable 63 at Hadar Yosef. Only Rafi Zauer (30) offered any resistance, as no other batsman failed to reach double figures. With batting not easy on a pitch offering little bounce, Ramle were reduced to 23 for 4, but Isaac Samson (18*) and Suji (19*) played cautiously to avoid further loss and take their team to a easy win.
