Ranatunga's dubious distinction

Arjuna Ranatunga's 'duck' against Pakistan has now moved him to the
second (joint) position in the dubious list of most zeroes in a LOI
career. This was the 18th time that Ranatunga was dismissed without
bothering the scorers, a new Sri Lankan record which he was jointly
holding with Romesh Kaluwitharana.
This season (1998-99) is certainly not the Sri Lankan skipper's
best. This was his fifth duck for the season in 19 innings. The
following table lists batsmen with most ducks to their name in LOI
matches.
Player Team Mts Ins 0's
Wasim Akram Pak 258 203 21

following table shows the incidents of his golden ducks.
