Sri Lanka Cricket has come to agreement with Ven. Inamaluwe Sri Sumangala Maha Nayaka, Trustee of Rangiri Dambulla Raja Maha Vihara to continue the management of the Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.

Both parties signed the terms of agreement on June 11th, 2007 at Dambulla.

The process was greatly expedited by the support received from His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapakse and Hon. Minister of Sports Gamini Lokuge.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sri Lanka Cricket will continue the management of the stadium for the next 30 years.

Sri Lanka Cricket has all ready confirmed that it will host 3 ODI's at the Stadium during the upcoming tour by the England National Team.
