Singapore may host a one-day international triangular tournament this year, pending further negotiations. The island nation last held a tournament in April 1996 when India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka competed for the Singer Trophy.
The Asia Youth Cup (Under 19s) will be held in Singapore on June 7-13 and will act as a qualifying tournament for the World Cup Under 19s in Sri Lanka in January, 2000.
The senior domestic season commences on February 21, finishing in late September.
