The Netherlands board has named Richard Cox as its new chief executive. He is the third person to take on the role this year following the resignation of Andre van Troost after just five months.
Cox has been director of cricket/academy director for Warwickshire and has 20 years of experience at all levels of the game in the UK, including a recent period at the elite academic and sports environment of Bromsgrove School. He is also a Level 4 ECB coach.
"The experience of Richard Cox links extremely well with the current ambitions of cricket in the Netherlands at the top level and also his knowledge to strengthen and broaden the base of the game domestically," said KNBC chairman Marc Asselbergs.
"I am thoroughly looking forward to the role and to working with everyone involved in Dutch cricket both domestically and internationally," Cox said. "In particular a key area will be working with the clubs and the KNCB development team to sustain the game at all levels."
