Queensland Bulls wicket-keeper Wade Seccombe this morning ruled himself out of today's Mercantile Mutual Cup clash with the Western Warriors at the WACA Ground.
Seccombe has knee trouble and will fly home today in a bid to be fit for the Bulls' next Pura Cup match against the Victorian Bushrangers in Melbourne from 29 November to 2 December.
His place will be taken by 32 year-old Gavin Fitness, who flew to Perth on standby yesterday. Fitness, a right hand batsman, last played for the Queensland Bulls in 1994-95 when he played three first-class matches while Seccombe was sidelined with a broken collarbone.
