For the first time in the series, South Africa finally showed their true talent on Monday as they turned in a defiant batting performance that at least gives them a chance to force a draw in the second Test and keep the series with Australia alive going into the final match.
Jacques Kallis led the way with a brilliant unbeaten 84 while AB De Villiers joined him with a fine 68 not out and the longer those two are at the crease, the better chance South Africa have of pulling off a dramatic draw.
Getting the remaining 302 runs they need for victory would surely be beyond them but anything other than a defeat would be a superb effort after they were outplayed over the first three days.
Kallis is 5/6 to make 126 or more, while De Villiers is the same price to make 106 or better. South Africa are also 5/6 with bet365 to get to 450 or more, which wouldn't be enough for the win, but could help them save the match.
Cambers' Call - already advised
South Africa to beat Australia in 2nd Test - 6/4 bet365
South Africa to beat Australia in 2nd Test - 6/4 bet365
