Sri Lanka will want to cut the deficit but England captain Paul Collingwood wants ruthlessness from his team, making them value for Saturday's final match

England's win over Sri Lanka in the fourth one-day international on Wednesday left Paul Collingwood's side jubilant and rightly so. But while England have played consistently, Sri Lanka have been thoroughly outplayed and have only pride to play for in the final match of the series on Saturday.
The home side's big problem is that their batting has let them down, with the openers making little impact, putting too much pressure on those down the order.
England, by contrast, have played solidly and there have been some good performances, particularly from the bowlers, with James Anderson, Ryan Sidebottom and Stuart Broad all producing excellent efforts.
In general, though, Sri Lanka have been pretty terrible. On home soil, they are traditionally tough to beat but they have frittered away good situations and looked, for much of the time, as if they were not all that interested.
So that leaves Saturday's final match of the series as a dead duck, competitively. Usually, when one team has an unassailable lead, they switch off, while the losing side fight hard to salvage some pride. This one, though, is more difficult to call than normal as Sri Lanka's players look like they would rather be on the golf course.
England are 6/5 (2.20) outsiders with bet365 to win the last match and that is purely because they have won the series. But, with captain Paul Collingwood trying to instil a winning mentality into what is largely a young side, they will be dangerous and Sri Lanka look way too short at 8/13.
Can anyone score big for Sri Lanka?
No one has impressed with the bat in the entire series - on either side, to be honest, and bet365 can't even give a clear favourite in their market to be top Sri Lanka runscorer on Saturday.
Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara and captain Mahela Jayawardene are all joint favourites at 7/2, a perfect indictment of why they have struggled. Upul Tharanga is 11/2, Chamara Silva 6/1 and Tillekeratne Dilshan, their highest scorer in the series, is 8/1.
For England, after finally making some runs in the series-clinching win, Kevin PIetersen is again favourite at 3/1, just ahead of Alastair Cook, at 7/2, and Ian Bell at 9/2. Collingwood himself is 11/2, while Phil Mustard and Luke Wright are both 6/1, with Owais Shah 8/1.
England will be tempted to rest players having already wrapped up the series so wait until you see the team news before charging in, but they are the value here at 6/5.
