Old Boys Cricket Sixes on Oct. 19
THE Old Boys Union of St. Peter's College have organised a Six-A-Side
Old Boys Cricket Tournament to mark the 70th anniversary of the Union.
The tournament will be held on October 19 from 8.30 am onwards at St.
Peter's College grounds.
Eight Old Boys Associations have agreed to play. They are: St. Peter's,
St. Joseph's, St. Benedict's, St. Anthony's Katugastota, Ananda,
Nalanda, Royal and S. Thomas'.
Each Old Boys Association will be provided with a tent to house their
supporters, which will be decorated by them to compete for a prize.
Trophies will be awarded for the Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best
Fielder, Man of the Final, Man of the Tournament and the winning team
too will get a trophy.
KSC Sixes continuation on Oct. 15
KURUNEGALA Cricket Sixes which had to be put off because of rain
half-way through the tournament on September 14, will be continued on
October 15 at the Welegedera Stadium.
The tournament is organised by the Kurunegala Sports Club.
