Statement - Sri Lanka Cricket election affected

This is with regard to the news item, which appeared on the 27th February 2004 on page 20 of the Island Newspaper under the caption Sri Lanka Cricket election affected by General Elections?

Sri Lanka Cricket denies the aforesaid statement in toto states further that the Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held on the 31st of March 2004 in accordance with the provisions of the Sri Lanka Cricket Constitution and the membership has already been issued notice of the AGM accordingly.
