A strong showing is expected from both the Christchurch Under-17 Women's teams who will be competing in the Southern Zone Secondary Regional Tournament at Oamaru from 17-20 January 2001

A strong showing is expected from both the Christchurch Under-17 Women's teams who will be competing in the Southern Zone Secondary Regional Tournament at Oamaru from 17-20 January 2001.

Of the 24 players, 19 attended the tournament last season. With 11 of these 19 selected in the favoured Christchurch Red team expectations are high for a repeat victory at the tournament.
