are close to signing Anil Kumble. India U-19 will tour
Australia in Feb-Mar 1995 pending BCCI's approval.
28 Sep WI Board is carefully monitoring the plague situation in
India. First ODI between India and WI may be shifted to
Chandigar from Baroda. (Baroda is about 100 km from the
plague epicenter Surat)
29 Sep Lara, who is currently partipating in a sixes tournament
in Hong Kong, expressed concerns over the upcoming tour
to India. However, he said, he will abide by the Board's
decision. The series may be postponed by a week. No clear
details yet. There will be investigations on the
allegations that Pakistan players indulged in betting on
games during the SL tour.
