The PBCC requests affiliation with the PCB

The PBCC has requested Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for affiliation as the President, General Pervez Musharraf who is also patron of the PCB had directed PCB to affiliate Pakistan Blind Cricket Council during his address at a reception arranged by Pakistan Foundation Fighting Blindness (PFFB) to honor the Blind World Cup winning squad at Serena Hotel, Islamabad on January 15, 2003.

The PBCC has not yet been granted affiliation by the PCB.

The 3-member committee to decide the genuine body of blind cricket associations in Pakistan appointed by Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board in now needless because all the disputes have been resolved and the PBCC is the sole administrative body and supervisory authority for blind cricket all over Pakistan.

The PBCC would also like to thank the PCB for the moral support and financial assistance provided to it.

PBCC again requests the PCB to take PBCC under its umbrella and sanction the annual grant for the existence of PBCC and for the development of Pakistan Blind Cricket.
