Tickets available for hot summer of cricket

Cricket fans can book their place for another action packed summer of cricket, with tickets for the Gabba's international matches going on sale Monday through Ticketmaster7.

Tickets for the First Ansett Australia Test and the One Day International "Three Pack" will be available from 9am Monday. Individual tickets for the two Carlton Series International One Dayers will be available from September 1.

Australia will take on the West Indies in the First Test from November 23-27, with the match marking the 40th anniversary of the famous Tied Test between the two teams at the Gabba.

The First Test will also see Steve Waugh's team striving to equal the world record of 11 consecutive Test victories, set by the West Indies in 1983-84.

The One Day "Three Pack" includes the two Carlton Series day/night matches, with the West Indies taking on Zimbabwe on Saturday January 13 and Australia playing the West Indies on Sunday, January 14. The offer also includes the day/night match between Australia 'A' and Zimbabwe on Friday January 12.
