* The only batsman to score a 99 not out in the Test cricket is Boycott (Perth 14-19 Dec, 1979). He is also the only batsman to score a century and 99 in the same Test (Port-of-Spain, 1974).

* Bradman was never dismissed in the 90s in any grade of cricket. He was once dismissed for 89, and on another occasion he was left stranded at 299* when he ran out his partner going for the 300th run!
