TV Rights awarded for a period of 3 years

The Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka is pleased to announce the award of Broadcast and Sponsorship rights for Sri Lanka cricket for a period of three years to WSG Nimbus Pte. Ltd.

This sponsorship agreement which is the richest deal in the history of Sri Lanka sport, was entered into on the 3rd of December 2000 at the BCCSL Headquarters, and was signed by the President and Secretary of the BCCSL Mr. Thilanga Sumathipala and Mr. Mohan de Silva and by Mr. Harish Thawani - Co-Chairman and Director WSG Nimbus Pte. Ltd.

A presentation and press conference by WSG Nimbus Pte. Ltd. will be announced shortly.

This agreement in effect guarantees the greatest worldwide audience for Sri Lanka cricket, and the opportunity to showcase the splendour of our Island Nation.
