Wisden Almanack archive now available online

The Wisden Cricketers' Almanack archive is now available online for the first time. The online archive, which now forms part of Cricinfo.com, contains more than 3,000 match reports, articles, obituaries, Notes by the Editor and Cricketers of the Year features from 1864 to 2005. There is also a sneak preview of articles from the new 2006 edition.

Access to the online Almanack is free to site users - a simple free registration is all that is needed to read anything from the archive.

The Wisden Almanack archive is also searchable - readers can select a particular year direct from the Wisden Almanack homepage, or perform a text search across the entire archive.

All of the Wisden pages are linked in to Cricinfo's scorecard archive, so users can move seamlessly between the world's greatest sources of cricket information. A simple search on Cricinfo's Statsguru tool will unearth even more statistical data about your chosen team or player.
