Pakistan and Ireland will not play each other in the warm-up stages of the World Cup in the West Indies next year.
The organisers reasoned that the change in the itinerary was done to rectify a glitch in the scheduling, as both teams are anyway scheduled to play each other in the group stages of the tournament, in Jamaica on March 17.
According to the revised itinerary, South Africa will face Ireland on March 5 while Pakistan play Canada on March 6 at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground in Trinidad.
