Zimbabwe performed exceptionally well and will now join South Africa in Pakistan in the World Cup Qualifier to be played next year.

Tanzania and Zimbabwe faced off in the final round -robin match to decide who would go top of the table. Zimbabwe batted first and posted 145 runs.

Tanzania got off to a poor start. S. Hamisi looked like she was steadying the innings when some brilliant bowling from J. Chibhaba and S. Mpofu wrapped up the tail that saw Tanzania slump to 63 all out.

In the match between Uganda and Kenya, Uganda posted a score of 149 and made light work of hosts Kenya, dismissing them in the 26 over for 58 runs.

All in all for a first ever Women's Tournament it was very successful.
