0.2 to CJ Chibhabha, gone second ball! The off stump is leaning like the tower of Pisa, Dawlat is roaring with delight. He aimed a length delivery at the top of off, and Chamu just swished across the line at it. It was a bit of a nothing shot, to be honest. His feet barely moved. Afghanistan strike the first blow!. 0/1 16.2 to CR Ervine, he has his man! Caught in the deep! Dawlat sent down another length delivery, but this time Ervine was on the walk into the leg side. He scooped the ball high into the air, but not far enough to beat the fielder.. 157/5

3.5 to Sikandar Raza, he's gone this time! This short ball just seems to have taken Raza by surprise a little. His weight was forward, and by the time he got back the ball was already at him, and he spliced a top edge straight up in the air. Gulbadin himself settles under it to hold the catch.. 30/2 19.2 to MN Waller, but gone this time! It was another slower one, out of the back of the hand by the looks of things, and this time Waller has aimed over long off. But he didn't connect it well enough to beat the fielder, who caught it about a foot in from the rope.. 178/7

8.1 to SC Williams, he's gone! The leggie does the trick! A fine innings comes to an end! Williams was aiming for another boundary. He came down the track at Rashid and biffed him down the ground, but he couldn't get the distance to beat long-off, running around.. 85/3

14.5 to R Mutumbami, oh, that's a timely strike. An enterprising knock comes to an end. Mutumbami has placed the orthodox sweep much better than the reverse, which has now lead to his dismissal. He swaps himself around in the crease, but the ball is much too full and he can't get his reverse sweep down in time. Pinged in front of middle.. 145/4 17.6 to E Chigumbura, Chigumbura comes down the track and targets long-on with a slog, but he's not hit it all that well and the fielder down there holds an easy catch.. 166/6

16.1 to Najibullah Zadran, or maybe not because he's bowled him! That will help Zimbabwe. The dangerous Najibullah has his leg stump knocked out of the ground. The ball wasn't a yorker, but it was right up to him, and he would have been better off aiming straight. But he swung across the line, and right past the ball.. 146/4

10.4 to Usman Ghani, superb catch! I didn't think he could possibly get to this. Ghani set his eye on a full ball on off stump, and hammered it in the air straight down the ground. Madziva was at long-off, and he charged around the boundary towards the ball. But it was dropping on him the whole time, and he had to dive to even get close. Somehow, he's got his fingers underneath it, and Zimbabwe have the breakthrough.. 95/1 10.5 to Mohammad Shahzad, two in two! Both openers depart now. Chibhabha sent this down very full again, aimed at the base of middle really, and Shahzad missed his flick into the leg side. The bowler appealed, the umpire agreed, and Zimbabwe celebrate another one. Shahzad seems to be indicating that it was a slower ball, out of the back of the hand.. 95/2 |
