Abdul Razzaq will join Saqlain Mushtaq as Ireland's second overseas player for the C&G Trophy.

Razzaq, the Pakistan allrounder, has agreed terms with the Irish Cricket Union and will join the squad in April ahead of the first match against Hampshire on April 23, which will be held at Clontarf.

Razzaq, who has recently regained his international place in both Test and one-day teams, was influential in helping Pakistan win their recent Test Series against India. He averaged 51 with the bat in the two Tests that he played, and took 9 wickets at 31.22 apiece as Pakistan took the series 1-0.
