UP claim first innings points

Uttar Pradesh took first innings points against Rajasthan as their Central Zone Vijay Merchant Trophy match at Bhilwara ended in a draw yesterday. Resuming at 87-1, Rajasthan progressed to 161-3 but then lost their last 7 wickets for 45 runs to be all out for 206. R Gurjar top scored with 58. For UP, S Shukla with 4-37 and P Chaudhary with 3-41 were the chief wreckers. In the time that remained UP knocked off sixty without loss in 15 overs.
