Deandra Dottin and Britney Cooper were back in the West Indies Women's ODI squad for their home series against New Zealand. Dottin was suspended for West Indies' last 50-overs assignment, the tour of New Zealand in February, while Cooper played the last of her 17 ODIs back in 2012.

The WICB selection panel named one uncapped player in the 13-member squad, the 16-year-old Hayley Matthews, who bats right-handed and bowls offspin.

The four ODIs against New Zealand, all of which will be played at Warner Park in St. Kitts, will be West Indies' first series in the ICC Women's Championship. The ODI series will be followed by three T20s, hosted by Arnos Vale in St. Vincent.
